Archaelogical sites and monuments

P. Lazarides in the ARCHAEOLOGICAL BULLETIN 20 (1965): TEMPORAL give evidence on the effort to record and restore the archaeological and historical Places of the island:

"... In my few days visit in August 1964, I had the opportunity to browse Skiathos with the pleasant and at the same time beneficial companion of enterprising mayor Mr. Theodosiou. Thus, undertook to examine most of the monuments and receive the necessary elements for preparing the work plan for the maintenance and strengthening them. "
